Manifesto

Principles of creation

We set out to create the company we would want to work for. What follows is a list of the things we hold dear. And the premises we reject.

Built by humans, for humans

We build for people, not metrics. We build apps we're excited to use ourselves.

We're not a faceless corporation. We're people who got frustrated with overcomplicated and mediocre apps and decided to do better. Every annoyance you feel, we've felt it too. If it doesn't serve you, it doesn't ship.

Simple commitments

We keep our promises small. Better to deliver on the simple stuff than fail at the fancy.

We won't promise to revolutionize your life. But we will promise apps that work when you need them, updates that actually improve things, and features that do exactly what they say. Boring? Perhaps. Reliable? Always.

Small team, big dreams

We stay small to focus on what matters: you. We're not trying to be the next tech giant.

We're a small group of people who believe software should make life better, not more complicated. We build for keeps. Profitable from the start means we answer to users. We have no investors, no board of directors, no eyes on an exit.

Our apps mind their business

Privacy is personal to us. This is why we build our products to protect it.

Our business model is very basic: We charge our customers a fair price for our products. We don't take your personal data as payment, we don't try to monetize your eyeballs, we don't target you, and we don't sell ads. Simple as that.

Life's too short
for mediocre apps
